This past February I had the great opportunity to participate in not one, but two, storytelling events. It was thrilling to be part of the inaugural Storytelling Night Leipzig, where, in a cozy, intimate setting, I told a very personal story, and had the good fortune to listen to five other speakers, who told fascinating tales from their personal lives.
I also participated at a storytelling evening at The Bear in Berlin. The Bear is already an institution in Berlin. Storytelling enthusiasts gather to listen as well as tell all varieties of personal stories. At the February gathering, I chose to tell of one of my passions. If you are ever in Leipzig or Berlin, I highly recommend these two monthly events, for a great evening. You might arrive as a stranger but you will leave feeling like family!
